You couldn't even have melting glaciers without global icing. Global warming is the direct result of global cooling, without which global warming would be impossible.

How many of these recreational waterways would even exist without glacial melting?

They will stop flowing entirely soon. From onset to full-blown ice age is less than 100 years, and then it may take 10 thousand years to reverse it.

whats funny is if you were to plot "today's" CO2 concentrations ( about 380 ) as it would be off the chart by a mile and show very clearly how we are directly responsible for Rapid Global Climate Shift

The surface currents tell only a small part of the story:

As you can see by comparing the two (wind vs current)maps, current is little affected by wind, due to mass of moving water being so much greater than that of wind.

So going from 290 to 380 PPM of CO2 will cause all of the hurricanes we saw this season and... Wait! WTF? We didn't have an hurricane season?
In other words, CO2 went from .0290% to .0387% of the Earth's atmoshere (Both about 1/3 of 1% of "air")? Should we all just kill ourselves now?

I love reading the stuff people dream up, its like what one of my cop buddies was saying the other day. Sometimes he'll stop someone and they will start explaining the law to him, said he just kinda smiles and lets em finish, then hands them the ticket and tells them to explain it to the judge. I guess one guy told him it was legal to run a red light if you looked both ways first. Kinda like what is being passed off here as climate science.

Markmo, no don't off yourself yet, just put on this little cone shaped hat and go stand in the corner, think about what you've done for a while and once you realize you were wrong and are feeling ready to apologize you can come back and play with your little friends.

Hoyt
thanks for the detailed explanation
makes perfect sense now

A decimal in the wrong place? Anyway, the point is that CO2 is insignificant.
