What is this?

    Hello,

    Can anyone help me identify this hull? Its 18' 8" with a beam of 7' 4"

    Second question is: Is it worth restoring, assuming there are not any serious structural problems with it?

    The wooden structure of the floors, bulkheads, transom, etc. are very likely rotted. That is not worth restoring. There are plenty of used boats for cheap that are ready to go in the water.

    Welcome to the forum.

    I agree, inasmuch as this would be over your head, if you're wondering if it's worth restoring.

    Boats of this general size are simply containers for the valuable stuff. It's a sack, that holds the engine, tanks, controls, steering and electronics. The hull is essentially along for the ride, in terms of value. The same is true of a trailer for the same boat. So, if you have a good engine, fuel tank(s), controls, steering and assorted bits of plumbing and wiring lying around with nothing better to do, maybe this is a project for you. Gonzo is correct, in that a boat of this era will have rotten structural elements that'll need fixing. So, to add to the list of stuff you'll need, bring some resin, 'glass fabrics, fillers, paint and assorted 'glass work tools (and skills) to the project.
