Right Wardd..!! And as you said before ‘‘tub for fdr’’.

USS Iowa & here.

‘‘When Iowa was selected to ferry President Franklin D. Roosevelt to the Cairo and Tehran Conferences, she was outfitted with a bathtub for Roosevelt's convenience. Roosevelt, who had been paralyzed in 1921, would have been unable to make effective use of a shower facility. This bathtub remains the only one ever installed on a United States Navy warship.’’

‘‘The bathtub on the battleship USS IOWA (BB 61). This is the only bathtub on a United States Navy warship. It was installed as a convenience for President Franklin D. Roosevelt when he crossed the Atlantic Ocean to meet with British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and Soviet Secretary General Joseph Stalin at Casablanca, Morocco.’’
Please make us a nice new one . .

Good Luck!

FDR had bathtubs with a similar bar everywhere......

MARYLAND, UNITED STATES - OCTOBER 1945:

The bathtub in Franklin D. Roosevelt's bathroom adjoining his bedroom in his hideaway lodge.

So I guess the Potomac has one too.

Found info about Potomac's tub but unfortunately no pictures, yet.....

Floating history / USS Potomac:
Quote:
‘‘Its bathroom houses a replica of Roosevelt's original, stainless steel bathtub.’’

The kind of shrink plastic arround it gives the presumption that the item is new, it also looks like it's made in mass production.

Good Luck!

no shrink wrap and it's fairly old, over 50 years

and it was mass produced by hand and machining
