Current map

Looks similar to the 1994 Q/birthday scenario.
fnmoc & Metservice has it deepening rapidly.

No upper level trough on the 500hPa map yet tho'.
Guess northland radio will be onto it.

Metservice downgraded this morning to 992mbar.
My boatshed remains standing.

That 934mbar (centre) prognosis, must have been an unedited computer spitout.
