    Somewhere around here I have a book which recounts the tale of a highborn British lady who was known to let one loose every so often, er, frequently. In the story she was holding a dinner party when one escaped and she turned to her chief manservant in a huff and demanded that he stop it.

    Without pause the butler was to have replied: "Certainly, my lady. Which way did it go?"
