Ugly Boats

Every now and then we all come across a boat that is either "ugly" or "strange" - or like the double decker in steel from Wooden Boat that those two guys couldn't launch

One always wonders "what was he thinking"
obviously a lot of hard work goes into it
good materials and some even well built

but what is ALWAYS amazing is the "I will show you" attitude
this fella obviously wont put the NA's out of work

my gang went silent, the one and only time the entire weekend when all of us were speechless

like i said - i wonder what farmer brown was thinking

looks like another sad attempt to build a woolmilkpig...
imo things like that always are happening if somebody is trying to get the room and transport capacity of a mobile home while keeping the size down to that of a mini cooper and STILL reaching a performance like a F1 racing car...

what you end up with is a very ugly mini cooper with a bigger trunk and the performance of a snail...

Reminds me of the gal who went into town to buy a horse. She told the trader, "it must be strong and broken to the plow, so my husband can use it around the farm; it must be saddle-broken and have a gentle gait, so my daughter can ride it; it must also be fast, so my son can race it against his friends; and it must be able to pull a buggy, so I can use it to go to church."

The horse trader looked at her for a minute, then asked, "and will Madam also be wishing to milk it?"

But the baffling part is the money they pump into these projects... you could get a nice 10 year old boat for the same value!
