state of the economy for boatbuilders

I don't know if this can be answered, but what areas of the country currently have the lowest and highest rates of employment / unemployment for skilled boatbuilders? Where is the cheapest place to have a quality boat built in the United States?

If I had to guess, the cheapest and best quailty is in Maine. Just my opinion.
