A slight case of depression

Damn, I turned 70 today. Son picking me up in 2 hours to go to the finest steak house in Tennessee. Will try to overeat a large steak and wash it down with to many Jacks on the rocks. All further advise by me will now be 100% based on WISDOM.

Happy Birthday!
Any thoughts on young people these days, and their so-called "music"?

Happy birthday!
No need for depression, you're not the first one to step into 70's and we're all bound to follow your steps, if we are lucky. I don't think it's really that important how many years a person has on his shoulders. The only thing that counts is how he/she has lived them and what's left in the wake behind. Considering that your son is taking you to the finest steak house in Tennessee, I'd say that you can feel satisfied.
Cheers!

Happy Birthday, rasorinc! Threescore and ten is a milestone. Many did not make it. Be happy! Sorry I'm late with this post but was out of town until late yesterday. Many happy returns!

Well thank you all for the birthday greetings. The depression was cured by eating a 22oz.
piece of rare prime rib washing it down with branch water (several ) and my son paid for all of it and was the designated driver so I really had a good time. Boy, do I love prime rib.
Now it is back to work and time to forget about my age for another decade.

Again, thank you all. Stan
