| Shore Side Transportation I did a quick search for this subject and came up with naught. There are any number of discussions of dinghys and tenders, but very little or nothing on shore side transportation we might haul along for ourselves We all know of various folding bikes, and motorscoters, but here is a new canadiate....the YIKE bike Quote:

| I've seen it around the Web. Looks like a totally useless piece of kit to me. It costs around 5 thousand bucks US and has about an 8-mile range. A quality folder like a Brompton or Dahon just makes so much more sense, all the way around. This YikeBike POS is just a solution looking for a problem.

| Unless the shop delivers to the slip, you will need some bike baskets. http://www.lime.com/blog/ng/2008/04/...er_bike_basket ![]()

| ....and Larger Vehicles for SuperYachts BTW, I started another similar subject thread over HERE, but it dealt with some larger "Alternative Powered Vehicles, 3-wheel versions" I originally added this posting to a subject thread having to do with fuel prices and some recent auto/market discussions. But the more I thought about it, why leave it buried there, quite a few 'superyachts' that just might make use of one of these for shore-side excursions. |
