| Sailing movies Say, I've read a stack of sailing books and was wondering if there were any good sailing movies (e.g. voyages, races, circumnavigations, etc.). And yes, I have seen all of the "Pirates of the Carribbean" movies. I'm particulary interested in movies that lend an extra eye on the workings of the ship. I did find some Hornblower DVDs on Amazon.com. Is this TV series any good? Happy New Years to all! Cheers, Joseph  |

| Yes, saw that one a long time ago...one freaky movie. The scenery was great though. I found this Hornblower box set on Amazon. Although Hornblower is a fictional series, it's quite thorough on various nautical details. Has anybody watched any of them? http://www.amazon.com/Horatio-Hornbl...dp/B00003OSSO/ I don't mind a little soap opera drama, but if it's nothing but that I'll probably pass on it. |
