    I think you are making the mistake of assuming that territory conquered by the
    Nazis would have been held until the present day.
    (Incidentally, another completely fictional scenario, "The Man in the High
    Castle", has been given the green light for a full season of epsiodes.)

    I'm not assuming anything, other than that history would have unfolded very differently had things gone the other way in Russia in 1941. A lot of people assume that the way things transpired is pretty much the way they had inevitably to play out, I don't see that as being true.
