| MAGIC engine The Magnesium Injection Cycle engine is powered without using fossil fuels. Power is generated by the chemical reaction between magnesium and water, which produces high-power steam and hydrogen. The hydrogen is burned at the same time to produce more high-power steam, and the two steam sources power the engine. The new technology produces no carbon dioxide or other harmful emissions and the only by-products from this reaction are water and magnesium oxide. The magnesium is separated from the oxide through a solar-powered laser process and is reused over and over again as fuel. This clean energy cycle, which is supported by solar power, has the potential to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, and could bring about a paradigm shift in the way future energy needs are met. http://www.mitsubishi.com/mpac/e/mon...608/green.html

| Green can be fun Development of alternatives to gasoline and "dirty" diesel power can be fun. Some recent records and an upcoming attempt: Ford Fusion fuel cell powered car, 207.3 mph. E85 powered Viper, 220.7 MPH. Dieselmax, 317, 328, and 350 MPH in one week. Steam car set to break Stanley Steamer's 1906 record of 127.65 MPH; shooting for 200+ MPH

| But he exhaled a lot of CO2 Greg Kolodziejzyk, who holds the 24 hour bicycle record of 1061 km in 24 hours, set a human powered boat speed record: 173 km in 24 hours. Greg is planning an Atlantic crossing in a pedal powered boat in 2008. "Our modern sedentary lifestyles are putting our kids at risk at being the first generation that will have a life expectancy shorter than that of their parents. My mission is to get kids active again. Human power is the power from 'WiTHiN'".Greg Kolodziejzyk. http://www.pedaltheocean.com/index.html
