I'm sorry, but I wonder if you have a clue what you're talking about . . .

    1) The hydraulic keel ram incident of WOXI you're referring to happened today in Bass Strait north of Tasmania near Flinders Island and WOXI is limping for the coast right now.

    2) WOXI is doing fine in your picture.

    3) In the background of the picture we see the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

    4) At the wheel we see Bob Oatley who passed away in January of this year.

I've just looked into the specs of WOXI to find out why she's reefed that far in above picture while the keel is fixed in center position. Turns out she requires an additional 5 tons of lead in the keel on top of the standard 12 tons if she has to achieve the same stability as with the keel able to cant. So without 5 tons extra weight down below the failure of the canting mecenism makes proper sailing impossible and so more sail aloft in the shown calm conditions would be a dangerous venture I guess...

    Hi Phil,
Nice pic :) - But.. it's 1,600 x 900 pixels, so it deforms the page layout on my laptop, would you please replace it ? - Eg. by this one: 1,200 x 630 pixels. - Thanks in advance [IMG]
