I am a silly person with some egg on my face. I went back there at 7:00 this morning; it's just some kind of old concept buck. Hey, it was a nice little fantasy while it lasted.

The windows, grill work, headlights and taillights are adhesive contact vinyl. The entire body is hollow, just some rusted support steel tubes so that it rolls.

Someone took the spare off, I'm guessing it's going to roll off into oblivion; I wish I could buy it and put it on an old VW beetle frame or something.

I just love this kind of stuff, it looks like a lot of fun.

East Coast Kinetic Sculpture Race
http://www.kineticbaltimore.com/KSR/2002/

I'm not sure I even understad this one.

This entrant consisted of a person with a giant transparent helmet and a very unusual cart...........The cart turned into a remote-controlled spoon-driven boat for the water race.

Yep, that's outside the box alright.

Photographer's instinct in action....
When you hang around DSLR cameras for long enough, you end up instinctively shooting the thing at any unusual sound, motion or light you think you heard/saw, just holding the shutter button while the camera cranks away in hi-speed drive mode. 99.5% of the time you catch absolutely nothing and just hit delete; one in perhaps 200 times you get something good. This could be considered a classic example.
Wonder what exactly went wrong with the crane. Slings break, or slide off?

Here is a new sport in NSW Ozz it's called ship surfing. Yes you just take your ship down to the beach and shoot the waves.

What can I say; another proud Dad, and justifiably so. Of course, every Dad is proud, and justifiably so! Great photo, Guillermo. Oh, and one last question: how many times does she have you wrapped around her little finger?
