    Modern J-Class yacht Ranger;

    The smiley reminded me of the dive boats in the Red Sea - so many and all the same, that they painted the boat name underneath in a different colour anti-fouling - divers still regularly get back on the wrong boat, but as a guide it was considered very bad form! :p

    Here is the link to Chris Jordan, the artist/photographer's full gallery for the midway project [dead albatrosses and plastic] :

    seeing the large number of similar images has considerable impact;

    there appears, in some of the images, to be, perhaps, a little manipulation or arrangement of the subjects, possibly for compositional reasons.

    Its a subtle thing, and the point and impact of the images, particularly en masse, is clear, nevertheless.

    much of his other very powerful work uses digitally manipulated images to convey levels of consumerism and waste.

    Wonder what the results would be if a boat painted pictures of bottles of Whisky, Wine and Beer on the bottom?

    Would they be accused of trying to steal customers?

    Printing is the biggest cost, print magazine's often offer digital only for about a third of the price. I have one like that, they also can put in more pics and add video at no extra cost.
    I've also worked in part of the printing industry, assembling post press machinery. The machines that convert flat print pages to books magazines or newspapers. Reading trade publications showed printing is a huge cost and they know it, however they can only offer more features or faster speed, cost is not able to come down.

    Culinary tip. Do NOT stir fry curly Kale in olive oil, Thai fish sauce & dark soya sauce & then eat the lot. It shoots through like a Bondi Beach tramcar. :( :( :eek: :confused:

    Add a dessert of sugar free Haribo Bears and you may not have any bones left.
