    "Las Lajas Cathedral

Built in 1916 inside the canyon of the Guaitara river where, according to local legend, the Virgin Mary appeared.

You can find this church in southern Colombian Department of Nariño, municipality of Ipiales, near the border with Ecuador."

There's been discussion on why this plane crashed on other boards that I'm banned from, but while the thoughts are now that one engine quit and the crew mistakenly shut down the wrong engine and lost too much power to keep aloft, in this video it seems to show that the horizontal stabilizer on the left side (at the tail) gets clipped off by the building and precipitates the violent rollover. Without that happening, possibly there would have been many more survivors.

It disappears and then comes back into view as if its flopping around loose but still held on by cables or something. ???

As I understand it, the tail on that aircraft is a "T" tail so that in the video above, the fuselage is hiding the left side for a while but it reappears as the aircraft rotates over on its side. The horizontal stabilizer is all there yet.
