Tourist sub is a great Idea. I think I'd like to try that!

There are quite a number of 'concrete submarine' discussions on this forum. I don't think they could build this model in concrete

The Beatles sang a song about it Loooooong ago, - - - Not a really new idea as you can see... I understand the song was inspired by one of the above...

How much fun would it be to live in an " inside out aquarium " for a while...

thing does tend to lend itself to wild flights of fantasy now doesn't it

am almost inclined to look into the feasibility of putting a couple of underwater view ports in my own build

I was wandering about on a SC 52 which has a small view port just over the leading edge of the deep high aspect rudder.
The owners told me it was to look down and see if something had gotten fouled there.

My imagination would get the best of me- sleepless night on passage I would be peering down expecting to see eyeballs staring back up at me, or some weird creature grabbing hold of the rudder..

I had a friend that made a glass-bottomed boat and the slightest algae rendered it hazy. He had to dive on it every few days. Mo' Betta he was on Molakai.

sounds like a whopping huge pain in the ass but still
would be cool to lie shallow in some remote inlet and watch all the critters swimming or crawling past

Getting back to 'random' pictures, here's a picture of my Beagles, Lump and Baby, along with their little buddy. They're rabbit hounds--or at least they used to be, until poor old Lump got one front leg shattered into toothpicks by a sheepherder, and it had to come off. He can't keep up now...and since they grew up working as a team, Baby isn't much use without him. So now they're house dogs.

I'll throw in a desert sunrise and sunset, while I'm at it. Between them and the dogs, we're probably not gonna get much more random than that on a boat forum....

Hi RHP, thank you I'm so gratefull

No 1 and No 4 any time. Although I must say no 4 will be a good omen on a boat. No bad weather will even come close. If you want waves you'll have to make them yourself Gawd I like wiemen !!! Of course the next best thing is neked ones, and after that more wiemen The perfect crew to have... must be a six pack.
