what a neat idea, old as the hills but as is often said - there's nothing new under the sun! Still a sensible short range ' toy' though! (could be more than a toy as well with a bit of imagination!)

This is my Mercedes Benz, a 1964 220 SB Fintail (6 cylinder, twin Zenith carbs, 2200cc, manual gearchange) which I have slowly but surely rebuilt.

The bodywork was in good condition when I got it and the interior had just been refurbished but I´ve rebuilt the engine, suspension and a whole host of unglamorous work which needless to say has cost a small fortune. (one part I have refused to buy is a replacement master cylinder the size of a yoghurt pot for $700.......).

I did about 700 miles in her last weekend and will do another 600 this weekend. These old cars need to be used otherwise they quickly deteriorate.

Enjoy.
Richard
