Probably using FLIR to find grow houses.

They give 24 hr notice when they do it here so they're not violating any laws or homeowner rights. Grow houses stay hot for a long time even if they turn off the power they're stealing.

They were following me as I walked, not the house.

I did visit the C.I.A. world fact-sheet site yesterday.

I'm sure there is no connection, can't be.

Trafficking in persons:

current situation: the United Arab Emirates is a destination country for men, women, and children trafficked from South and East Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, and the Middle East for involuntary servitude and for sexual exploitation; an estimated 10,000 women from sub-Saharan Africa, Eastern Europe, South and East Asia, Iraq, Iran, and Morocco may be victims of sex trafficking in the UAE; women also migrate from Africa, and South and Southeast Asia to work as domestic servants, but may have their passports confiscated, be denied permission to leave the place of employment in the home, or face sexual or physical abuse by their employers; men from South Asia come to the UAE to work in the construction industry, but may be subjected to conditions of involuntary servitude as they are coerced to pay off recruitment and travel costs, sometimes having their wages denied for months at a time; victims of child camel jockey trafficking may still remain in the UAE, despite a July 2005 law banning the practice; while all identified victims were repatriated at the government's expense to their home countries, questions persist as to the effectiveness of the ban and the true number of victims
tier rating: Tier 2 Watch List - UAE is placed on the Tier 2 Watch List for its failure to show increased efforts to combat trafficking in 2005, particularly in its efforts to address the large-scale trafficking of foreign girls and women for commercial sexual exploitation

Illicit drugs:
the UAE is a drug transshipment point for traffickers given its proximity to Southwest Asian drug-producing countries; the UAE's position as a major financial center makes it vulnerable to money laundering; anti-money-laundering controls improving, but informal banking remains unregulated

The rear cabin fairing may have been cut off to accommodate some rear facing technology behind a protective membrane (looks white in photo).

It was a piston craft though like the Robinson.

The R44 Police Helicopter arrives ready for duty with the specialized equipment – infrared imaging system, searchlight, monitor, dual audio controller for police radios, etc. – already installed and FAA-approved....................

In addition to patrol, surveillance and incident response, today’s police departments face expanded missions that now include gangs, drugs, and homeland security.
The closest one is the R44 Raven II, but that has a slender to a point cabin ending.

From the rotor tower, tail boom, and cabin rear portion it's definitely a Robinson Raven. Marketed to law enforcement; used by agencies that don't waste taxpayer money on military choppers for the macho image. KnottyBouyz may have it.

If they were really following you, you were probably a target for field calibration of the FLIR. "for FLIR, live persons are required" Air/Ground Probability of Detection Calibrations, SAR training memo, British Columbia, Canada, 1996. Because of the vibration inherent in helicopters, recalibrating the aiming controls frequently is SOP.

Note: I am quite certain I am correct, and you've no worries on that point. If the guys in black break down your door early tomorrow morning, however, then I was wrong.

The dark brown would been a Sheffif's Department in Michigan, it's their color.

I see that Perry, Michigan has one, that is about a 1-1/2 hour drive north from where I'm at.

They are all around me (cars are dark brown too):

Located at Oakland-Troy Airport (7D2) in Troy Michigan, our late model helicopters are always impeccably maintained and flight-ready.

I guess they just needed some dummy.

Given the time required to manufacture the dummies and place them in the
field I would recommend that you also consider performing ground-search POD
calibrations once the dummies are in place.

.............Now we have to consider the type of search pattern.
