Raining

As I sit here and wait for tomorrow to come because I will get me some more epoxy, it is raining cats and dogs. It makes me think of how nice it would be to be out, properly dressed (no kilts), and sailing. I like "real" weather, I like it rough.

I like when the wind is howling, the rain is pouring down, lightning flashing, and thunder rolling.

I like a good snowstorm, when the snow is flying horisontally, and you cannot see a thing more than a meter or two in front of you, and that with goggles on.

Then again, I do like my coal fired pocket heaters, long duffel coat, thick socks, wool trousers, and thick sweaters, and my thick, warm, waterproof boots.

But most of all, I like to feel the weather.

Andre

P.S. I just felt like sharing.

What good is warmth without cold to give it sweetness?

Hehe, exactly!

Just liking having had your butt frozen into two blocks of concrete to sit down in the warmth with a hot cup of cocoa.

I've had my butt frozen to often, i'm afraid I'm with Guillermo on this one! As long as it stays calm (so you drift or row but what the .... its kinda nice, until the water/beer runs out!)

I think that the attached picture looks really nice, and very tempting - it's just that when it gets too hot, I feel like my mind stops working - some would say I shouldn't be able to tell any difference, seeing how it used on a daily basis, though ...

I'll stick with Guillermo too, us Texans like it hot. We sure could use some of that rain you got Danish. I've never seen "extraordinary" drought on a weather map before, but that's what they say we're in

Yikes, corpus, drought is no fun at all.

I like the rain, and in 1999 I went to New Zealand. on parts of the southern island it had rained and/or been overcast for elleven months in a row, but when I arrived the sun shone, and it kept shining for three months no matter where I went. I never got to see those beautiful waterfalls- there was but a wee dripping falling from the cliffs.

Just found a hair drier - maybe I can blow some of our rain from here over to you? I just fear my eletricity bill

I buffed and waxed BOTH trucks, and the boat, and it still won't rain! Maybe that hair dryer would do the trick! Aim it towards California and blow it all our way, those buggers have had more than they can stand. Oh well...

Ha ha
Now it has been blowing east two days in a row, and here it has been working - most of the clouds are gone, so maybe they're almost over there?
