OK!

The plan was to get the boat to this point so it could be
put inside.

Now I need to get the shop in top order to make working
around the boat possible.

I have a couple of clocks to make,, need to eat..

I will start posting updates when there is something to
show, not daily in most cases.

The yard needs mowed again, and I need to arrange the
shed to get all the extra stuff in.

Also, the 12 to 18 hour days I have put in on this have
taken a toll, I need to get some rest.

When the snow comes, I will have a nice warm place to
work and I have six months to get it done. Next spring
I can do the mast, put a couple more coats of paint on
the outside of the hull and put the new trailer together.
Make a sail. Go to the lake.

I am going to order the hardware I need from Duckworks
next week.

Thanks to all that have commented.

Edit:

The wife will be going to Europe for a couple
of months, leaving this weekend so I will have
to do the house and related stuff while she
is gone.

This one, the finish is burnt with a heat gun.

The Harley emblem vibrates so I have to spring mount the face!

Little different face and finish, this is one I build in several versions and
it is a little cheaper than the custom units. I get $250 for these. The
larger ones run between $1500 and $2500 depending on how much
etching is done on the glass, I can spend 30+ hours on some of
the glass alone. The smaller ones come with a stand or they can
be wall hung.

They are all done with recycled wood.

Thanks for the nice words.

Day what ever?

Got the yard all nice, helped get the house all cleaned so
I don't have too much to do while K is gone. A lady will
be coming every two weeks to help with the house while
K is gone. I have to do the dishes and clothes.

Got the shears sanded and the stiffeners rounded off and
some temp spreaders in so I could take the frames out to
seal and paint the inside. Stern knees and bow hook are
the next items on the list.

It is not bad at all working around the boat in the shop
even with the limited space. Tools are always at hand.
And I don't have to run extension cords all the time.

It will roll if you are not careful, need to get some blocks
to keep it in one spot.

Day some thing?

Worked on Dads lawnmower. Coil went bad, only twenty
years old.

Worked on the knees and started on the cleats,, God help
the first person that puts a line on one of my cleats!

The hole is for the sheet traveler.

BHOFM, are they they there for "decoration only"? - - very nice work though - shame to "molest" them.....

Made the rub rails today. Need to get them fitted before
painting the inside so I know where the screws in the
sheers are. I will fit them and remove them for finishing
later.

Found a blemished 1x4x12' oak at a company that makes
stair casings. Had a little knot and was cut crooked on one
end, did not meet their standards. $12! The rails are
1 3/4 X 1/2!

That's all folks!!!

Well, does it float or not ?

And most important, does it catch fish ? Some boats do ( really) and some don't.

Every one is waiting for the results with baited breath
