I think I saw the final pics on another thread where the ex-boat was sawed up ready for delivery to the tip, (on the back of a ute - toy truck), after being neglected and left on / in the water for a season or so?

If you want to stick your boat to a block wall, it will work
fine!

Day 21

Four hours of sanding, two hours of painting.

Looks just like it did yesterday.

*1Much is close to what I am doing, I have bought
125,000 Hebrew slaves to help me. The problem
is I only bought two sheets of sand paper and one
paint brush!

Was I supposed to turn the boat over before I
installed this?

*Disclaimer
This not an ethnic joke, My wife is Jewish and I have
much respect for the Jewish people.

Woooow that paintwork is blindingly brilliant.... excellent.... (apparently, I recently allocated "positive feedback" to you, and am unable to add to your reputation "'till I spread it around" - - so here are tokens of no value .......... :::::::::: ::::::::::

Day 24

Shopping, nice lunch, little house cleaning!

Roughed out the pieces for the dagger board top and got
the dagger board and rudder down to final shape, now to
start on the tapers. I am not going to get carried away on
shaping them, just some nice rounded edges. It is not a
race boat!

Used some old crappie junk wood I had laying around for
the cap and eyes for the handle. It was salvaged from an
old house boat about thirty years ago. Teak?
Still have some sanding to do.

I have twenty or so pieces like these. I plan on making
some dead eyes and cleats and my blocks from it.

Nice going BHOFM !

Now you just have one more hull to make Errr... sorry, I'm a bit one track minded.

No, it has nothing to do with boats

Well, is it floating or are you waiting for big rains to force you, like Noa ?

Loan someone's pool
