I read that list several times and I must say
what no beer?

when you complete the cooler
then we can talk about project progress

ps
beer goes on the list with fire extinguisher and life vest
think of it like an emergency supply
I'm pretty sure if they do a safety check out on the water you are going to be asked if you have beer
the good stuff
not that pilsner swill
in case you have guests

best

On danger of being banned and or whipped, we are non
drinkers but for a very very rare glass of wine with dinner.

So our emergency supplies will have spring water and
a couple of limes.

I guess clock/watch makers are sober people who at least can enjoy an occasional tipple of (I hope red for the anti-oxidants) wine

At least dribble a little over the bows and some into the lake/ocean to appease the sea gods....

I think the sea Gods are already not to happy about there not being a ready emergency supply for both ceremonial and medicinal purposes
not to mention for when Im getting lucky

what ever happened to that pint of rum a day
two if you were worth your salt
that always kept the incidence of mutiny down back in the day
pretty sure that was Poseidon's idea
shame of the gods man what is the world coming to
rapid climate change
overfishing
pollution and over population everywhere
and now
breaks my heart to see the day arrive
some fool going to sea without proper supplies

maybe there should be a special thread for these kind of folks
has a warning on the tittle or something
speaking of which
Mas
how you holding up son
its only another two weeks and I know you can make it
just stick with that alcohol vapor thing you stole from the emergency room and you will be ok
remember
take it one day at a time

Oh bugger, I thought it was one bottle a day, and I got me a Darwin stubbie (you know those squished shorter beer bottles that only hold 275ml or something), well a Darwin stubby was designed to differentiate the drinkers from those with wee willies - some say a Darwin stubbie holds about 5 litres.... well I ordered me one of those, so I can truthfully say "Oh just a standard stubbie of beer?" and get really smashed - Sean would love those bottles!

Oops, sorry BHOFM, for pirating your thread, and a word to the wise, if you don't drink, it is OK to lie on the net and claim to be a roaring drunk... - sometimes - when no one is looking

goes over better with the locals
lets see
I got 1234
um
16 empties I need to get out to the recycle bin
nice English style pale ale basic 12 fluid ounce bottles
never heard of a stubbie before
sounds like some kind of genetic problem

knew a guy named rusty a while back
seemed to get all excited when I suggested it was cause didnt seem like the luckiest guy in the world
got all pissed off and stormed off
got several feet and slipped on a piece of cardboard we had been using as a template for something
didnt seem to help his mood much but sure helped ours

whats this thread about again Mas
something about alcohol if I remember
had a boat in it to
or a battery box made to look like a cooler
something like that
oh well
no mind
hows the boat going mate
Im stuck on hull design bellow the line
got what I want it to look like from the line up
but whats most efficient bellow that line is voodoo so far
best
B

why do I remember something about someone named boofm
or bofm
blurmn
nope
bamf
mentioned something about a glass of whine I think

OK!

Had it outside for a bit but with storms in the distance.
Got some measurements for the sail and got it back
inside quickie quickie, no pictures.

Fore stay is about three inches too long. Got all the specs
for the sail.

This is all I have for now.

What material? Is that a tarp? Didn't know you could get it in such a light color, all the stuff in my hardware store is a yukky dark blue or green. How does the double-sided tape work? I have been sewing mine but that looks easier.
