I use a clear contact sheet from Hobby Lobby and their
etching compound. I print out the design on regular paper
and glue that to the contact sheet already on the glass
and then cut out the design with hobby knife.

Now you can get a machine to do it all in a mater of seconds.

Final paint.

Next it goes on the trailer.

It only eats the glass. Paint it on, wait 5 minutes or so,
not important, it gets harder to get off the longer you
wait, wash it off. You can reapply to areas you want to
high lite a bit.
I use cheap throw away brushes.

Congratulations on a beautiful product - are you now going to be building the 'mother ship'?

Well, we had an unending rain this weekend so I got the
riggings pieces all on the mast and boom.

And sat down and added up all the damages.

Materials, new trailer, new trolling motor, new rigging pieces,
fasteners, paint, glue, sand paper, masking tape, rope, it
ain't line till it goes on the boat, leather, carpet for the bunks,
and a hundred other things.

$904.00 US!

I have a lot of the cedar left, along with sandpaper and
chip brushes. I bought nine dozen, three of three different
sizes. I bought a gallon of Titebond III and used about
a quart.
A lot of the lumber was already on hand and a lot of it
came from the mill as waste and was free, all the oak
was free.
