"The P.B. Grebbe" / Water Pod

the "Grebbe"

my thanks to many of you...
"Guidance" is a gift.
I've been out a few times, and twice with my son.

I call her the "Grebbe"
hope you approve ...

thanks Troy,
my apologies on the Details, (duh)
(i got a little side tracked).

She's a 13.5 foot Dory,
4 ft Beam. she took me about 4 months to build.
I built her out of 1/4" and 3/8" marine plywood.
and of course good ol' epoxy and fibre.

She was designed for me by Morton Olesen of dk.boatplans.com
whom of course I only have great reviews for. I can only
"Tip my Hat to Morton" for everything he has done to make this boat/build
possible for me.

She's a reasonably fast on the row. ( I haven't timed her yet *L*)
and there is still much to do with the sailing aspects, but I am glad I managed to get her in the water (to row) for 1/2 of the summer here.
She has lots of storage as well. I hope to have her set up for sailing for next spring. she is designed for protected waters. She is also set up as a "guideboat" as well. you can pull ashore and sleep on her too! (1 person) I look forward to many exploratory outings. There was a lot of thought put into her before the build. she is certainly unique. I believe the plans will be available at dk.boatplans.com soon and I believe Morton will/has perfectly and approprietly called the the design the "Water Pod".

what a wonderful life experience!!!
I will certainly keep everyone informed as the Grebbe experiences continue.
again my many thanks to everyone.

Please forgive me for I have made a huge stupid mistake.
Morton Olesen is located at: http://www.boatplans.dk

I feel so bad for making such a stupid Mistake!
again my apologies. I am so proud of my boat and my efforts.,and as I stated below I owe a lot of thanks to Morton. Here I just
wanted to express my thanks and I go and do that!

all I can do now is stand up to my mistake
and do my part to correct it.

there are no words...

thank kach,
ya it a pretty cool idea,
but if a small craft sneaks up on you at 90 degrees you dont really see
them till there running into you. It does however help to row straight out
to a point.

thanks
