Just in case you dont know over there, what we have to put up with

'Howard is just like Mugabe'

Prime Minister John Howard finds himself alongside Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe in an Amnesty International report which says they are among short-sighted fear-mongers dividing the world.

The human rights pressure group has accused Mr Howard of portraying asylum-seekers as a threat to national security.

The report also criticises Australia's role in the war on terror and its treatment of female victims of violence.

Amnesty secretary-general Irene Khan says the fear generated by leaders such as Mr Howard thrives on myopic and cowardly leadership.

Ms Khan included Mr Howard with Mr Mugabe, US President George Bush and Sudan's President Omar Al-Bashir in the same scathing paragraph in her foreword to the group's annual report published today

I resent George Bush being grouped together with Howard and Mugabe! It's not fair to either of them!

I think before this thread is allowed to continue Jeff should decide wether commenting on a fascist little bag of 19th Century orientated outmoded crap who is squandering millions of public dollars advertising his party - and various private health schemes - whilst failing to explain his multitude of lies and corrupt actions - is a political matter....

Oh, and good morning Stu.

i Knew you would be on the case too, I,ve been explaining to my boys for years , how Howard creates a climate of fear, and by doing so manages to push through bills that can be labelled, at best KEEP THE PEOPLE tied down, the amount of law passed here since the start of the War, it is like a creeping insidious mass of writhing red taped tenticles People here are loosing their freedom, rapidly and they are too stupid to know this, TOOOOOOO late
good morning Max

Small tip Stu - and any Aussies who might think of going to Sydney later this year to 'protest' at the Bush and Co visit. The Aus police, Special Branch and the 80 odd 'bodyguards' our President will bring are all licensed to shoot on sight anyone who makes a 'suspicious' move - or has a beard and olive skin(I've already warned my wife to stay clear).
Should any 'innocent' civilian be shot by mistake (as in the UK underground episode) - NO court action will follow. An open-ended 'impunity' has been given by our PM in advance.

You realise Stu that anyone now following such a comment - and discussing your sudden disappearance is also liable to five years in the slammer under the Howard 'Anti-Sedition Laws', which I notice he's not spent a single cent on advertising in his Public Information series of multi-million dollar campaign...
Arrrgggghhhhh - Special Branch has just smashed through my doorrrrrrrrr

.....Sit on his head...that's it. Knee the bastard's balls and while you're at it stick this false beard on him...that's better. Now tuck this pistol in his hand...Good. Did you get a photograph...right. Now then how does this forum thing work...
(fingers fumble at keyboard)
Right you lot out there. We know who you are and where you live...and we're coming round to shoot you for suspicious behaviour (men of your age playing about in boats...obviously planning to import all those nasty illegals...)
Just stay in your kitchen Wilma - you'll be OK. Right lads...this Lazeyjack's first on the list....

Over here it seems, at least to me, that they want to eliminate the middle class. It will be them (rich & few), and us (poor, numerous, and dependent on "them").

Won't be able to afford a boat (thats for Jeff).

Take care Berg & Lazey.

Tim

After reading this, Canadian politics seems almost civilized.
