In my hometown, 2 guys in their early 50's that owned a gas station/auto repair were within a few months of retiring. A small leak in their underground storage tank had been running into the street sewer system and when it blew it put about a mile of busy road out of commission. One of the manhole covers smashed through a house roof into a bathroom. They both went bankrupt and lost everything, their houses and their gas station and were consigned to working at the same gas station until they could 'retire' at 65.

He didn't really find the leak, just that it's "down there" - so now he's got to do it all over again . . .

So now we know why manhole covers are round - they make better frisbees.

    Next item.

Have you heard about the Ipod nav app that found a shortcut though Fairbanks? It led motorists to - and down - a small-plane runway (the motorist declined). And separately, it misguided people to Fairbanks airport's main passenger terminal, resulting in a pair of motorists becoming hopelessly confused and who then just drove across an active main runway to get to the terminal. But officer, I could see the terminal right there. :D:D:D

Luckily, it was an airport and not a cruise ship port, they'd have driven into the river like the lady in the UK.

What is the Catholic Church doing pedaling graven images anyways? Trying to pay off the ********* claims? Do you suppose they will figure out before the next run that there is no "J" in Latin?

According to this, the correct spelling is

    Iesus

They didnt say they needed a 'J'
