Ah Lazey, the old 'White Australia' policy. Now be fair - it did not exclude all non-whites. If the prospective immigrant could speak a second 'beaurocratically selected' language they could gain entry. Trouble is, the language was 'Gaelic'....

aww shucks, thats 10 people who love me and 100 that don;t,:))
fact is I have too much time on my hands, in between cooking for my boys and my 87 yr old mum , who came for 4 weeks, Never mind, When Helen gets back from Ireland, where she is learning the Gaelic to be sure an all an all, I will be second cook again, and looking for a shed, trouble is most of what's left of my machinery is in NZ,
A man should NEVER EVER sell his tools, I sold most
Can remember, when I sold my spindle moulder, guy turns up with a station wagon, , we all stood around with grins on, sent him away for a trailer, comes back , and we lower it onto the thing, flattens it, he was a home handyman, he got a 1oookg machine with feeders, the works, he left with a very wide smile
hey but I have a black and decker 3/8 drill!!

    Yo, lazey,

I second Timgoz's motion on no more politics.

You forgot, you still have the tool between your ears.

Trust you're not counting me among the ten who love you, Lazey...
So make that nine who do, and 101 who don't.....:D

Oh, and let's be pedantic. It is the Scots who have the Gaelic. More correctly the Irish speak 'Erse'.:p

And finally - trust Tim to be a party pooper....:(

Getting back to the topic (and I hate doing this :p ) I came across this gem recently:

Remember, the Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

A bit of wisdom in there somewhere fellas?
