Even caring what make the white car is shows your priorities are a little skewed....

Welcome, tamaran,

Your avatar and the pix of the white....uh, that's a car, isn't it? with all the girls? show you have the attitude it takes to navigate these forum waters. Don't mind the occasional (frequent??) verbal shots, we're always firing broadsides at each other, keeps it from getting too boring.

Quite a few replies for a guy that has nothing to do with boats.

If he'd said "Hi, I'm new here I build boats," we would have totally ignored him.

There's a sweet young thing on the check out at the local boat shop, and I told her the other day that I don't have a boat and I only go in there to buy boat stuff so I could see her. I think she took me seriously.

When I walked out with a new anchor last weekend I got a very strange look. A $65 anchor when I could have seen her for a $3 packet of fish hooks.

Poida

Poida,

now that you mention it..., I just remember I also need an anchor. Do you think she will find it suspicious?

The number of replies must have to do with my friendly avatar, or will you all admit your interest in cars too?

For those who liked the fish picture, I got it from a book on photo-retouching called Paintbox (issue 1), and the artist's name is Albert Winkler.

Anyway, thanks again for all replies

Maybe "that sweet young thing" is thinking that you might have actually went out and bought a boat now... to convince her of your undying affection
