Hello everyone,

I was just told about this site just this morning, I can hardle believe that I have not stumbled across it already. It is very interesting and full of some very cool designs. I see that there is quite a bit of correspondance regarding schools in the forum.... I am an instructor at Westlawn and would be happy to answer any questions as time permits and as best as I can in regards to the school. I can tell you that a lot has changed at Westlawn in the past 10 months since ABYC has taken ownership. I encourage all to visit the Westlawn website and see what is new. With Dave Gerr leading the charge the school is growing rapidly. Dave has a wealth of knowledge and is pouring it out into the school. Current students should be very excited about the immediate future at Westlawn!

Welcome

Welcome Stu.
I am glad you found us. We have several Westlawn students that frequent here. Your input on the school will come in handy from time to time I'm sure.
I am glad to see Dave working there too. I enjoy his work and his books have helped me a great deal in my doodles or "Noodles" if you will
Again ...Welcome

As a current Westlawn student, I too welcome you Stu. How long have you been a part of the 'new' Westlawn? It has long amazed me that nobody from the school has actively participated in this forum - glad you've come on board....

I joined Westlawn shortly after the ABYC/NMMA deal went through. Dave and I came on around the same time, with me a few months later due to my having to relocate. As I said earlier, I would have joined in on some previous threads had I known about the site before last week. There are some interesting myths floating around the forum about Westlawn that sure make for interesting reading....

I am just a lowly one, and read more than I can contribute here. But it will be great to hear and read some of your thoughts.
