Thank you.
Northern Maine. The last coastal town.

That would be USA then. This is an international forum you know.

So, what would be the first coastal town?

Hi, welcome Lister

Nice you introduced yourself

Glad you asked about the place Tom, I first thought Lister was from Lübeck Germany, didn't think of the different spelling (now I learned Lubec is named for Lübeck). Let's say Lubec is the easternmost town of mainland USA, that seems to be correct from what ever direction you come . .

Cheers,
Angel

BTW, I just looked, Eastport is north of Lubec, so Lubec can't be the first or last coastal town in Maine or the USA if looking along the coastline...

Or is Eastport considered non coastal because it's behind Campobello Island . . ? ?

(that would be strange because the mainland coast behind an island is still the mainland coast)

Cheers,
Angel

(didn't understand first, but meant ‘‘greet the New Year’’ I guess ?)

No, Lubec holds the easternmost tip of mainland USA so it will greet the new year first. Point is that Eastport is north of Lubec and seen along the USA / Maine coastline Lubec never can be the first or last town. Very strange for someone from Lubec to say so... it gives me doubts you're from Lubec..

Cheers,
Angel

Angel, Goggle is one thing, leaving in Maine is another.
You never been in Lubec, or in Eastport.
I never saw you around.
If you have some money, take a plane and come over, you will be amaze how the people are nicer than you are.
You are quite arrogant.

That's right, never been there, but I think people who live in Lubec know that neighbouring Eastport is between them and the northern border..

I think you're right about the nice people from Lubec.. but the last part of your post doesn't match you in there either..

But what ever... have fun on the forum...

Cheers,
Angel

Angel, I agree with you, I was stupid, I apologize for that, and thank for your patience. The Lobster and the Moxy drink are on me anytime.
Thank you Michael for your welcome.

OK Lister, let's say I just noticed a slight mistake, things like that can happen, no problem, sorry that I mashed up your welcome with it. Looking forward to the lobster and the drink. I should have given the benefit of the doubt and not the opposit, sorry about that.. So I owe you one too

Cheers!
Angel
