| Need info on moving my boat to Montego Bay I just found this site & thought I may finally get some help! I am trying to move my 26' Mako to Jamaica. So far, the lowest quote to ship it is $10K. I'ts a 1977 Mako 251 that was refurbished by Saltshaker in the mid 1990's. An aux tank was added for an extra 20 gallons for 100 total. As for loading extra bladders or tanks and driving it, I have twin 140 2 stroke Suzukis (meaning they run forever but waste more fuel than they burn), weight then becomes a problem since it already weighs 5,000 lb. I'm in South Carolina and can trailer it to Florida. Anyone know of a shipper that can do it for a reasonable price? |
