need help to identify and find a part...

Hello my friend and I both enjoy our windsurfers; but, we really don't know much about the construction and names of things. I was hoping that someone could help us to identify a broken part on my friend's board and then we could work on getting a replacement. His board is broken where the mast has that joint connecting the mast to the board (which allows the mast to pivot, etc.). Does anyone have a name for that?

Any help would be appreciated.
