Naval design schools in Asia

I have seen a lot of posts from students in Asia. From their questions, it doesn't seem like the instructors are giving them even basic guidance. Where are these schools?

I was teaching in some; yes sometimes curriculum is missing some classic NA features, but students are good and willing to learn.

As to the list posted, it is far to be complete.

Thats a pretty good list. As you said, it is far from complete, but keep adding schools.

I'm not sure it's the courses so much Gonzo, though I will suggest that entry requirements may be lower than what many western societies prefer, so you get a fair lot of students on the low end of the Bell curve, attempting to get assigned problems sorted out in a discussion forum. These generally get sorted out in the first few semesters.

Comparing 'western standards' to others:

In USSR, training of naval achitect took 5 years as general, and 6 years for naval ships design. It is still 5 years in post-Soviet countries, and 5.5 for marine engineers (they get seagoing practice). Adding to this, we studied technical drawing in high school, for 2 years...

I belive that 4 years is not enough to get basic education as engineer (that assumes engineering culture and thinking, not just listening through some amount of lectures). For Asian countries, it would be great to depart from those 'western standards' and start training NA's and engineers for 5-6 years, this way they can get required engineering culture.
