Another one I had spoken of for a long time was the issues associated with epoxy leaching toxins into the environment. Years later I find this article, and people finally starting to catch on.

Soaring BPA levels found in people who eat canned foods
http://news.yahoo.com/soaring-bpa-le...221408095.html

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/life/...ontent=2248262

I"ve been a firm believer that the Epoxy industry has known about this issue for a very long time. They refuse to release the information concerning the longevity of epoxy, only insisting that "there have been boats out there using our system for 50 years". Which is BS. They know a primary component of there product is unstable and they know exactly how unstable it is. Why hide the facts.

Eventually it will come out that these manufacturers knew there products contaminated the environment, IE food and water, with dangerous tarterogens and carcinogens and not only withheld the information but deliberately continued to poison its customers with its products.

so now lets see how this one pans out.

Monsanto looses another key case

http://newhope360.com/blog/sweet-rel...ar-beet-ruling

Oh this aught to be good, what do you suppose the results of an environmental impact study of frankengenes might reveal and why would you suppose the GMO giant of them all would fight tooth and nail to resist having a study of there product completed or even allowed by the FDA. Which is basically in there back pocket. Fortunately citizens groups are banding together ( organic farmers and growers association for one ) and demanding these studies be done.

Can't wait to read what the findings are. Given that Monsanto's own scientists have come forward with warnings about spontaneous abortions and other critical health issues associated with "all" of there Frankengene foods..

Just a reminder of a topic we discussed a little earlier, Monsanto London wont allow its own foods to be served in its own cafeteria's, there own execs refuse to eat the stuff.

Global warming is natural.

Quick, somebody look up SUET.

Every body quit using it in LAW SUET. Stuff like this makes everything you say look .....poor.

From Webster: Suet - the hard fat around the kidneys.

This poor english useage detracts from serious issues.

Did anyone else just feel the world stop spinning for a moment?

oh and

If spelling is going to be the measure of a mans intellect then we'd be forced to conclude Einstein himself was a dolt. The man couldn't spell for beans and neither can I. I know its annoying to some but it is what it is. English just isn't my first language.

If you'd care to make corrections I'd be inclined to try and include them in the future, but don't be surprised if I just make new errors in my spelling or Grammar.

Cheers

Gentlemen,

You are right. But comparing your self to Enstn does not improve your intellect.

I apologize about the spelling lesson to someone not a native speaker, I've had the same problem, I was just a lot worse in Japanese. You had me fooled except for that one word.

You know i did meet a lady who very ernestly told me that Teflon was poison and the manufacturers knew it was poisioning the world everytime we cooked something. Very righteously indignent. I didn't tell her that my daughter has had an artifical heart valve for 28 years that is stainless steel and teflon and it is the only thing keeping her from needing a heart transplant. To me Obviously she didn't know what she was talking about. The simplistic attitudes shown here with no real facts sound just like her.

See: that is a real Red Herring even while I agree with your little logo "The trouble with people is not that they don't know but that they know so much that ain't so."

Boston,

By the way, please identify the Epoxy "toxins" leaching into the enviornment. I am uneducated about them and have never come across this. By the way, what is Epoxy made from?

HelpTroy! Was that another Red Herring?

I don't think you really need me to tell you when you're on topic and when you're off....

you might want to read up on it before responding

and no
I wasn't comparing myself to Einstein, I was merely pointing out that lots of folks have trouble with English.

I am not sure what anyone's city has to do with this conversation. But if Huntsville Has hurricane flooding problem then I am pretty sure global warming will be beyond doubt at that point.

Hmm let's see some other highly doubtful scientific theories...

Evolution
Heliocentric solar system
The earth is round
Radioactive decay modeling and dating
I think that global warming IS real and we need to start finding more efficient fuel sources. we wouldnt want another mass extinction would we.
