Model Yachting ? anyone

I am wanting to build one of these. Alot of the "kits" I see are pre-molded plastic parts with the quick build "on the water" in 1 hour kinda option deals. Thats not necesarrily what I am looking for. I would love to build one from scratch, or from a kit with some laser cut parts etc.

If someone knew where some plans were I could take it from there and build it from scratch, or also if someone knew of a good kit I would love any ideas.

Gracias!

I raced these for years.

Scratch built, oak framed, cedar planked, carbon fiber skin, lacquer finish.

Hollow wooden mast with bolt rope slot, all stainless rigging.

The US One Meter Construction Guide PDF available for download from http://www.theamya.org/boats/us1m/us1mcons.php could be what you are looking for.

You might want to check out the Footie class http://footy.rcsailing.net/index.php . Small, cheap, active, and many free plans.

You read my mind jehardiman. That is the exact sight I stumbled onto and decided to do. I am going to be doing the razor 3. Looks very straightforward and as if there are alot of people who are willing to assist a helping hand if I get lost along the way.
