| virgin coconut oil has antiviral properties - I cook with it and sometimes remember to take my daily tablespoon of coconut oil too - especially in "flue season"...

| There was the same kind of thing in China Frosty. We had the bird flu here as well. Aparently the bird flue is really bad for large birds and the bigger kock's, so you should be safe I'd say.

| This flu is a combination of swine, bird and human influenza and people have no natural immunity. It is truly something to be very concerned about and that is why the US has sent dozens of medical staff and equipment to Mexico and has since alerted the world as Mexico got off to a late start in trying to isolate it. All airline passengers leaving Mexico are being tested before they board, however, thousands left before this was implymented. The un-asked question is how a virus liked this was able to naturally mutate with 3 different types of animals involved. Something that does not happen in nature. Is it man made???????????????????????????????????? Thank God were on it and hope all countries are. All deaths in Mexico were healthy people, it has not hit children and the old yet.................... |

| Your doing a good job here Razor . I too am concerned about this. I tried to buy Tamiflu this morning,---nope, didnt know what it was. Maybe they are holding back until im prepaired to pay 1000 dollars for it to save my family. the thing is --if I had to,- I probably would. |

| Keep telling you Frosty, cold pressed or "virgin" coconut oil at 1 tablespoon a day (on toast instead of butter with vegemite of fish-paste if you don't like the taste).... has good antiviral and antibiotic qualities.... a villager can make up a batch (just do not heat it above 55 deg Celsius as that 'kills' any benefit)....

| We , the US, have sent 1,000s of units to Mexico and ordered production to increase to the maximum. Don't worry until you read that it has hit Asia. It is very inexpensive and you can be assured that AU will have lots of it. |

| I just leaned backwards over my chair and asked the missus if she can get coconut oil. Shed said "yeah in Thailand maybe but it stinks, what do you want it for? Sounds like an old wifes tail to me ,--Id rather use the foot of a bat boiled in snake oil with owls feathers at midnight. Or if I cant get the bats foot I use Tamiflu as perscribed by WHO flu specialists. But then again I always was a bit strange. |

| At present not for that strain but I understand several thousand doses for key personnel for ?h4n5? strain or whatever its code is for bird flu... Thanks rasorinc... "...You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to rasorinc again...." means that the cheque is still in the mail ![]() ![]() ![]() AU is "Australia" - - - and if you google "cold-pressed coconut oil properties" you will get the facts... and if made by desiccating fresh coconut meat mixing with the water from the coconut and waiting for the oil to float up should have almost no smell and have no colour...
