| MapTech to Navionics conversion I have a Lowrance LMS-240 which takes Navionics charts on SDC memory modules. I also have a full set of MapTech charts on CD...genuine paid for, not bootleg.... I am looking for software to convert the MapTech charts to a format that the LNS-240 can read on an SDC memory module. Does this exist or am I now married to the Navionics charts that are pre recorded on SDC??? The main reason I want to convert the MapTech charts is that they are BETTER charts from what I can see in examples I have been shown, AND because at the prices they charge it seems foolish to buy Navionics when all I need are Black and White images (the LMS 240 does not display color) |

| I read that but interpreted it to mean I could "create" maps. i.e. I could create them from whole cloth. Not that I could cut and paste from BBS charts or others and convert them to Vector charts. If the latter is possible, that sounds like what I need. |
