| looking for information on ~11' early submarine "Maryell" Hi folks, away back in 1938-39 a gent by name of Barney Connett designed and built a sub named "Maryell" it was a tad over 11 ft. long. He ran around Lake Michigan, crossed several times from Chicago to Michigan City, Indiana.He featured with it in "Ripley's Believe it or not" and obtained rank in WW2 U.S.Army. I have 3 pics of it as shown in Mechanix Illustrated 1939 but there must be more info out there. Regards Rayman.. |
