Don't stand above a closed compartment rigged with explosives.

I just can't imagine that they wouldn't have rigged remotes. Perhaps even disposible WIFI cameras to monitor the explosives or progress of the sinking.

Well, those persons in the video are either terribly negligent, plain stupid or just don't give a damn about their lives. I just cannot consider them professionals.
I realize that they have payed a heavy price for their conduit, but things like this really make me angry, so I'll say what I think anyways.

Salvage is progressing. They just got the 'rock' out. Trucking it through the narrow streets of Giglio was not easy.

Seems easier to put it back where it came from, then at least,mit would be confirmed and charted for the next ship

That is one expensive rock. They are going to cut the rock into a million pieces and sell it for $600 to help pay for the loss of the ship.
