| i got help and found an extern USB TV card at http://www.hauppauge.com/html/usb_data.htm now -for me- a USB cia card for my golden oldy. or has anybody ever seen a TV cia card..? so now TV on the laptop also.... yipster |

| I had a Happaug (spelling?) internal card for my PC, and I found it worked really well. They seem to be one of the market leaders. I would be a bit suspicious of digital TV through a small antenna. I've found it nigh on impossible to get it through a boosted dual-telescopic & ring antenna, which would kind of make it useless for a portable laptop situation. Only works with a roof mounted full ariel - but that might just be crappy UK coverage ![]() |
