Kristiansand

I have just acquired an ageing Norwegian 22 ft cruiser. She was built by Kristiansand Boats in Norway but i am unable to find anything about this builder or the boat itself. it is a KP 22. Does ayone out there know anything about these boats???????

I belive they was put out off buisness in the 80's

The mold's might still exsist.
I am certai that there 27" mold still is located in Norway.

boat in norwegian is båt and boutbuilder is båtbygger or båtbyggeri.

I think the company name was kristiansand båtbyggeri

Hope you can find inormation by this

Thanks for your input. Its a pity that I don't speak Norwegian! Ive found one reference to the builder and the boat model but I'll need to find a translator.
I believe that the boat was probably built around 1972 so I've got a project on hand to bring her back to life again. Hopefully the Volvo MD2 is a relatively troublefree engine.

I can do translation for you if neaded.
There is also some web page called babylon I think that can do moust kind off translations for you.

I know this company used to export some off there boat's to germany, is that how you got it?
