Just for kicks - pontoon pirate ship

Hello everyone, I've been visiting boatdesign.net for just about 2 years now. It all started when I got it in my head to build a pirate ship, and after reading many of the helpful posts on this site about pontoon ship design I was finally able to pull it off. So I thought it might be nice to put up pictures of my ship to amuse/horrify all the veteran boat builders. Here are some specs:

Laid down: August 20th, 2005.
Completed: August 27th, 2005.
Length: 28'
Beam: 10'
Draft: 1-2' (depending on how much water the barrels nearby took on)
Displacement: 600+ lbs
Crew: 15 (maximum)
Armament: One 1.5" potato gun

Note: Sails won't help that much on a pontoon boat, unless you really don't care where the wind takes you.

Every old ship had a figure at the front, and since carving one out of wood was far too time consuming, this beer add did nicely.

There she goes flying the colors...

Seriously cool. Vive la Quebec!

But only one potato cannon? Gonna need more than that when the wakeboard boat comes by!

Handsome

Grand to see the spirit of adventure is not dead! The figurehead looks real cool! (so does the water - in a different way)
