| Import duties Spain Hi, Am new here so hope the subject is OK when I first found the site there was a discussion on this subject which I now cannot find. I intend living in Spain and importing a thre year old yacht (vat paid) from England. Does anyone know the costs involved ie import duties, cost of registration etc. Any help would be appreciated. | A 3 years old CE marked boat with UK flag will not pay import duties in Spain, just the registering ones if you want to switch to spanish flag. If you're a british citizen keeping residence in the UK, although living in Spain for long periods, you may not even need registering the boat in Spain. If you send me the particulars of your boat and yourself to my office, I may be of more help. Please visit www.gestenaval.com Cheers
