Or else, load Linux Mint - - it will install in about 20 minutes and ask about half a dozen questions, Just plug everything in and have it "online" when you install... (printers are sometimes a problem as getting drivers is a bit of "trial and error" ;D NO de-fragmenting issues, no "registry" issues, no viruses and "Firefox" web browser and "Thunderbird" email thingie are available as well as lots of other stuff FOR FREE... and a filesystem that is robust and secure.... But the geeks of this world wrote and maintain it so there may also be a bit of a challenge and steep learning curve....

No arguments there Mas EXCEPT .........

I can`t run some of my fav. software including Corel Painter x ....which unfortunately does not fare well in emulator. Have tried ....I should have run it on a mac ...much better. It would mean dual operating system for me ....otherwise I would in a heartbeat.NEED A POWERMAC G6 really......

I have a complete suite of ubuntu here ....pity

Frosty would benefit though...on a CLEAN hard drive.
