How to register boat in sweden

    Hello everyone,
    Wonder how to go about registering a small sailboat in sweden.:confused:Its 2m x 5.25m.
    Not sure if it needs to be registered due to its size.:rolleyes:Also what papers are needed from the previous owner? Any idea how much it costs?

    There is no mandatory registering in Sweden today, unless the vessel is above 12 m, or in some cases, where it is used commercially. Previously, there was a lower limit of 5.0 m, but that no longer holds.

    The insurance company may demand that you prove your ownership, for example by showing a reciept or similar from the seller.
