But I won't because some dipstick will take it seriously and explain the difference to me.

Possibly Raggi. But the good news is that the West Highland Tourist Board run a collection service for visitors who forgot their insect spray....

Wasn't there a boat in the mid-eighties called "baby grand piano" (a cold-molded mahogany club racer of sorts) - only where the cylinder was huge?

To my recollection it was 2--3 feet in diameter (60-90cm), and had a huge stick to move around in that cockpit.

That's correct, that boat was designed by Biger Kullmann :-)

What! Really?

I liked that boat – I remember the interior was made from some "weird" (to me, that is) exotic white wood. Nice.

Yes, it's very good looking, and a fast sailor also, I think, it won Tjørn Runt in Sweden two years in a row.
