Very Nice work. Who makes the clock mechanism? Do you offer a 24 hour face w/o the seconds face? Stan

The movements are quartz. This face only comes this way.
I can get 24 hour faces in different styles.

The lesser clocks I do, have a paper face laminated with
heavy plastic. The ship face is enamel on brass. The wood
is scraps from the boat build. Cedar.

My neighbors house had a tree fall on it in tornado last
May, 2008. The house is decked in cedar 1X12"s. They
are replacing it with ply. I got a lot of the old cedar for
clocks.

One I just finished:

All my clocks are from recycled wood. No, I am not
a "green freak", I am am too damn tight to buy wood.

I sell a lot more $100 clocks than $1000 ones.

BHOFM,

That would fit neatly in this thread http://www.boatdesign.net/forums/ope...-26558-58.html - disguise as a business plan, and spam away... Hope you can get a sale or two to help you sail some more...
