    LOL Tom
    We agree on something anyway!

    The rest of the story

The young husband tells the witch, "I heard you say women want to be in control of there own lives. So! You choose!"

Witch replies, "If it's my choice? I'll be beautifull all the time!"

    Moral?
Can you give what you don't have?
Who has control over their own life? Demands on your time, attention, money.

Can't give your woman control, BUT...
if she had control wouldn't she be beautifull all the time?

Help her feel beautifull, and she'll always love you.

    IMHO

G'day 'fros-thai-bite. Would you like to give me some info. Please? When I sail into Thai-waters; as an OZie -sailing around the whole area, any idea how long I can stay? Can a sailor type (older) person - live - part-time on shore in some kind of digs that's about 4 or 5 star without it costing a Kings ransom, or is it all to expensiv? I'm farely frugal & might have to just live full time on-board but it might be nice to have a small lower priced digs on land just to keep my life in balance. What U say - young fella? Is it about the same costs wherever you stay over there or are there cheaper (better value) locations than others? Thanks cobber, look forward to an honest answer. OH & of course I'd like to get back to somewhat of the subject matter of this section of forums & give 'Gawd a break - at least in this part of forums - cause I know he's really busy this week & last - he's had 5 new arrivals that I was a tad close to., so I hope he's got some time to attend to them. Ciao, james

I found them and watched them. Interesting. The producers of the film don't claim it proves anything or even is a theory. They state it suggests a possible different way of looking at the Bible.

And they neglected mentioning one point.

In the first two episodes they make much of place names and temporal politics placing the authors in 7th century BCE.

In final chapter they point out that rise of Israel as a state coincided with new found literacy in 7th century BCE.

They neglected to deduce that authors writing down ancient oral traditions in 7th century BCE, would automatically translate for their time.

We have many english translations oof the Bible, trying to update for modern language use. We really don't thee and thou much anymore. Doesn't seem strange the original jews would do it too.

You can stay for 30 days if you just turn up with your boat . Your boat can stay 6 months and is easily extended to 1 year and more.

To stay more you obtain a tourist vise from say- Pinang before you arrive this is 3 months and is extendable at a cost.

If your over 50 and deposit 800,000 baht into an account you can obtain a non immigrant visa that before expiry can be converted to a year visa ( retirement visa) that can be renewed with the same criteria . with this you never need to leave the country again, but if you want to you can obtain a re entry permi at the immigration office.

The cost of living is about 100 baht a pint.

I have a retirement visa with a multple re entry permit this costs me 5,000 baht a year 50 baht to the pound.

Houses are rentable say 7,000 to 10,000 per month for a perfectly nice bungalow

You can but a condo for a million baht to 15 million.

Don't feel too bad about that.
We progressed because we learned the technology from the Chinese. Civilization is like a relay race.
You carried the baton for awhile, passed it to us while you rested and we ran with it.
Now you are taking the baton back to run a lap while we re-gain our strength. Let's keep it peaceful in the meantime so neither of us slides backwards on the stairs toward enlightenment.

Darwin saw God's majesty in His creations, unlike many who put evolution in place of God. I see evolution as one part of God's Creation which keep's the whole place from being static.

Of course that is all true, but where Mexico shares border with U.S. towns is a bit dicey at the moment due to illicit pharmaceutical situation. There is a high incidence of super-rapid onset heavy metal intoxication.

    See previous post #206.

In the first year of marriage, the man speaks and the woman listens.
In the second year, the woman speaks and the man listens.
In the third year, they both speak and the neighbors listen.

Unlike television, they (women) don't have a mute button.
