Hi all pleased to be part of your community

Hi all, having registered I thought I might take this opportunity to say hello and thank your contributors for the heaps of advice I have gleaned over the past months as a spectator.
I’m currently building my first project an 18 foot deep V cuddy fisher. I’m designing and building from the plug up so I don’t expect to see my first boat out of the mold before the end of the year.
At present the plug for the hull is almost ready for coating with duratec just got to drop on the lift strakes. Taking note of what you guys have posted I bought a copy of Dave Gerr’s “boat strength” hence my laminate schedule is now in place, when I get something interesting to photograph I’ll put it up for your scrutiny. I look forward to being part of your community.
Thanks all
Phil

Phil welcome onboard indeed, and my thanks go to Corpus for that timely reminder (are these Yanks masochistic or what? or is that butterkistic I'm never sure)

Welly Loved your welcoming speech (hope Jeff was right but somehow it could be more fun if he's not! whoops sorry boss)!
